Press Release January 11 2024: JDC Program Director Resigns
Sofia Seitchik has tendered her resignation as program director for the Jewish Deaf Congress, Inc. (JDC), effective January 31, 2024.
The JDC board credits Sofia with the expansion of JDC educational programming and outreach via social media over the past 3 years. As program director, Sofia has emphasized the value of JDC to Jewish Deaf people, their families and the signing communities in USA and abroad.
Sofia leaves JDC in a very solid position, ready to move onto the next level to ensure its stability and viability with educational programing, outreach, and fundraising/grants. She will work with the board to continue programs this month and to ensure a seamless transition with new leadership.
The board extends its great gratitude to Sofia for her remarkable contributions and commitment to the JDC mission. We wish her every success in her future endeavors.
