JDC Program Director job position is available now!

The Program Director is responsible for promoting JDC visibility and vitality in line with its mission and goals.
– Jewish Virtual Learnings in ASL and Engagement
– Memberships and Sustainability
– Outreach and Resources Development

The Program Director is a part-time paid position. The Program Director works remotely from anywhere and reports to the Board of the Jewish Deaf Congress through its Chair and or the Chair’s designated representatives for specific projects.

The Program Director works with the JDC board in planning and implementing educational, spiritual, and special programs, marketing through various social media outlets, developing and sharing resources, maintaining and upgrading the JDC website, and promoting community connections and collaborations.

JDC Goals for 2024-2025 include planning and implementing various educational programs, collaborating on special events related to Jewish holidays, communicating with the community via social media, providing support for the 2025 International Jewish Deaf Festival, assisting with the development/planning of resources to combat antisemitism, promoting membership drives and assisting with fundraising. The Program Director works to achieve goals set for the year, operates within the budget, and assists with marketing, outreach, membership drives, and fundraising. The Program Director may contract with tech and marketing assistants, contingent upon available funds.
