Introducing Jane Jonas as JDC Program Director

Jewish Deaf Congress, Inc. (JDC) is delighted after three months of search to announce the appointment of Jane Jonas as the Program Director effective April 1 2024.

With a deep commitment to enhancing programs with effectiveness and efficiency, Jane Jonas is poised to support mobilization within our Jewish Deaf community and our JDC organization.

In this role, Jane Jonas will be responsible for overseeing the educational programming, developing strategic initiatives, fostering collaborations, and ensuring successful execution of our programs and goals, in alignment with JDC vision and mission goals, with her expertise in project management. “Jane’s knowledge of Judaism and technical skills will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and driving impactful change within our organization and beyond”, states Marla Berkowitz, JDC Board Chair.

“With her passion, skills in technology, and social media – it is without any doubt that Jane Jonas will move forward JDC’s goal to recruit more young people involved with us!”, states Yoel Buzgalo, JDC board member and Vice President of WOLK Jewish Deaf Culture Club at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology).
