1. Deafness in Judaism – past and present. What is the Torah and Halacha’s approaches toward deaf people and deafness in the past and nowadays?
2. The birth of Israeli Sign Language and its development during the years.
3. Deaf Arab identity and deaf minority groups in Israel – dual identities.
4+5. Deaf community in Israel – education, population, Israel Defense Army (IDF), how managing living through wars and arm conflicts l, LGBT deaf community and more.
6. Deaf orthodox in Israel : a window to a unique and not familiar ‘deaf community’: their struggles, Barriers, stigmatization, managing marriages and families.
