Sharon Ann Dror will take you on an inspiring journey through her own personal experiences in genealogy and DNA research.

Interested in learning how to trace your roots and choosing the right DNA test for searching for your family members? Building your family tree is an essential part of the genealogical journey, with a hands-on approach, participants will have the opportunity to create their own family tree using a poster and markers, taking step-by-step guidance from Sharon herself.

Join us as this will be an interactive Q&A session with Sharon.

Bio: Sharon Ann Dror grew up in a traditional Jewish household in Santa Monica, California, and graduated from Woodbury University with an accounting degree. She has been her family genealogist since 1980. Since the COVID pandemic, she has worked on her family trees full-time. Genealogy and DNA tests have become so popular since the stay-at-home orders went into effect. She and her husband, Kenneth Rothschild, have been spending time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they are involved in the Jewish community with Cabo Jewish Center. Sharon teaches ASL to their teen girls’ summer program. This will be her 4th summer.
