In honor of Pride month, the panel consisted of four individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual/Aromantic/Agender and the + for expanding and new understanding of diverse gender and sexual identities). In addition to sharing their journeys of self-discovery and acceptance and experiences in the Jewish Deaf and the greater Jewish communities, they will explore topics such as Jewish perspectives on LGBTQIA+ with equality and belonging, differences between gender and sexual identities, and the whys and hows to use pronouns. A Q and A will follow to give participants opportunities to ask panelists about ways of inclusion for Jewish Deaf LGBTQIA+.
