4 Week Course: “What does Judaism say about death and the afterlife?”

Class 1: Death. Should we be scared? Why do people have to die eventually? What things should we keep in mind for the last days of life on Earth?

Class 2: Gan Eden. What is the Garden of Eden? What do the medieval rabbis Rambam and Rabbi Saadya Gaon disagree about the next world? What happens there in the garden?

Class 3: Moshiach. Who is the Jewish Messiah? What is he supposed to accomplish? What controversies have there been about this idea?

Class 4: Reincarnation. Can we do life over again? Do souls come back to earth? Is reincarnation really a Jewish concept?
